Luck is what happens when opportunity meets preparedness.

Give meaning and example.

  1. When you do something great and things turn out right and you think you got lucky it traces back to be prepared.

  2. This quote means that luck usually only happens when you are prepared for it. For example, when you practice for a sport, you work for maybe two weeks just for one game. When you are prepared for it, you will have luck and win the game.

  3. I was once told that hardwork will always find luck. You don't win things by "luck". You prepare for it and luck will find you through your hardowork. When the oppurtunity comes knocking, if you are prepared, you will get the better end of the deal and you may consider yourself "lucky".

  5. In my mind I think that the quote means when you are prepared, that sometime you might luck into thing that you are wanting or needing most. For example, if you are looking for a vehichle at a good price, and you have ben searching for months, one day you might just luck into the car of your dreams that you have spent months wanting and looking for. So that just goes to show surprises are everywhere you look. You just have to search for them.

  6. To me, it means that if you are prepared for a lot of things that could occur, then when the oppurtunity shows up, you will be lucky enough that you would already be prepared for it. So if you prepare for almost anything, the oppurtunity wont pass you. For ex. if you are have a major security system at your house, then it will be lucky when someone tries to break and enter into your house and they will be caught!

  7. This means that luck is a combination of two things. Allways being prepared is a good start, but when the opportunity rolls around the "luck" will only be there if you are prepared.

  8. Luck isnt about getting something or wining all of the time. In all situations there has toprepareness to get it in return. When we work hard for something no matter how long we worked for in some type of way we will get paid back in return

  9. From my point of view, this particular quote means that luck isn't always when something happens by fate, but when it comes up into a situation when your preparedness meets the right opportunity and then your luck reflects back on your preparedness to your advantage.

  10. Luck - a force that brings good fortune....If good fortune is sent to you by a force...don't you think you should be ready for it? The force presents the opportunity, but unless you are prepared for it, you will not be able to claim your good fortune.
